Parenting can be difficult under the best of circumstances.

When dealing with a child with severe emotional and behavioral disorders, the task can be daunting to nearly impossible. Statistically, nearly 1 out of 5 children in the US is suffering from some form of emotional disability, and parents and entire families are affected along with them. My husband and I have lived through the terrifying, frustrating and, ultimately, rewarding experience of raising a son with overwhelming emotional disabilities. I’ve written about it in “Mad Random: Claiming Life Out of Chaos”. My goal is to help parents and families dealing with these incredible challenges.
